On August 25–26, Hobby School partnered with New Nomad Institute to host Movement House, a youth-focused event held alongside UNCCD COP17.
Young people, researchers, experts, artists, and organizations took part in discussions and activities on water, climate action, and sustainability.
Guest speakers included former Costa Rican President Carlos Alvarado and chef and food systems advocate Jerome Waag. Students from Tomyo School also presented research on desertification using satellite observations.
As an Eco-School, Hobby School continues to support youth engagement and action for a more sustainable future.
